I am an artist originally from Germany, living and working in Amsterdam. My work includes painting, drawing and printmaking.

My particular interest is in transience and the gradual processes of change. I am drawn to places, objects, structures and images that have been forgotten, abandoned or left to develop on their own. I find inspiration in the moment when something begins to lose its original purpose or appearance, and when newness fades.

This process of transformation is also reflected in the way I work. Painting is a personal and almost private activity for me, allowing me to observe and explore these changes.
